Guo Wei hated his job. He had failed his gaokao, scoring impossibly low on the math portion, yet here he was, measuring glass for windows every day. “Cha bu duo,” he muttered to himself, slicing this piece as crookedly as the last. He didn’t see why it mattered whether the windows fit properly into the frames; the windows should be open to let fresh air in anyway.
